A full-fledged all-tube guitar amp in a compact, unique package - a US military surplus .50 caliber ammunitions box. But what makes this amp special is not just the ammo can. Inside is a new and original amplifier - not a clone of your favorite amp of yesteryear.

Its tones are firmly rooted in tweed Fenders and Marshall plexis, but Amplifier No. 7 possesses its own amazing rock "voice."  Its overdrive tones are thick and meaty, with plenty of body and awesome "kerrang."  Clean tones are warm and full. The transition to overdrive is incredibly smooth.  It gets nice and chimey on the verge of overdrive.  Crank it up and it gets thicker and richer while retaining amazing clarity.

Class A power amp with two power choices, octal preamp, and true point-to-point construction set Amplifier No. 7 apart from every other amp on the market today.  Oh, and did I mention it’s built inside an ammo can?

Clean

These recently manufactured ammo cans are not military surplus and have no markings other than the BC Audio logos.  The paint is not automotive quality, and they show very slight wear, but the overall look is very, well, clean.

Classic

This is the traditional olive drab ammo can, as you would likely find it in your local Army/Navy surplus store.  This is the classic Amplifier No. 7 look.  The patina reveals the rugged nature of these purpose-built objects.  There are obvious signs of use, like worn paint, spots of surface rust and light scratches.  Stenciled lettering and symbols indicate the type of ammunition once contained within, and vary can to can.

Extreme

These ammo cans have a lighter, sandier shade of olive drab, more stencil markings in varying colors, painted-over areas, stickers, removed stickers or tape and so on.  Condition is similar to the Classic style.  These really look the part!
